Our Philosophy

We follow the spirit of the awesome manifesto:

• Curation, not collection. A shorter list of genuinely great tools beats a comprehensive dump of everything that exists.
• Only awesome is awesome. Every entry is personally vetted. If we can't vouch for it, it doesn't make the cut.
• Legit & useful first. We only recommend tools that are legally obtained and genuinely solve problems, regardless of price.

Selection Criteria

• GUI apps only — this is a site about apps with a graphical interface, not CLI tools
• Legit & legal — no pirated, cracked, or shady tools
• Hands-on tested — we don't list anything we haven't used ourselves
• Actively maintained — not abandonware, not in maintenance mode
• Respects the user — no dark patterns, no bundling, transparent pricing
