Optimal Settings

Tools → Options:

Connection: Set a port between 49152-65535. Enable UPnP/NAT-PMP for automatic port forwarding. Check “Use different port on each startup” for privacy.

Speed: Set global rate limits based on your connection. A good rule: upload limit at 80% of your maximum upload speed to avoid saturating your connection.

BitTorrent: Enable DHT, PeX, and LSD for finding more peers. Enable “Encryption mode: Allow encryption” for privacy.

Search Plugins
